About Makespace.com Payment Method?
Makespace.com, now integrated with Clutter, accepts credit and debit cards for all one-time and recurring charges. The company does not accept prepaid cards, nor does it accept payment by cash, bank check, or certified check. When scheduling the first storage appointment, a charge is made to the customer's card for the estimated first month of storage, which is then converted into a payment credit. This credit is used for future charges, and any excess is rolled over to the next charge. How do I schedule a pickup with MakeSpace?
To schedule a pickup with MakeSpace, click on the blue Schedule Appointment button in the upper right-hand corner of the account and select Store More Stuff. Enter the zip code for the pickup location. For scheduling via the iOS app, tap the circular green button with a calendar icon at the bottom of the home screen. Indicate the quantity of items for pickup and if MakeSpace bins are needed, specify the number. Choose the services that apply to the items and pickup location, such as large items or multiple flights of stairs. Provide the pickup address, select the preferred date and arrival window. If bins are requested, packing kits will be sent via UPS. Review all details, add any special instructions, and confirm the appointment. An accurate inventory is crucial to ensure all items can be picked up.
